As a kid I was writing and drawing stories as early as I can remember, and I’m so grateful I’ve found a career that lets me do what I do best—which is basically make things up.
As a copywriter for 30 years, I’ve created stories for some of the biggest (and smallest) brands on the planet.
As a creative leader for the past 15 years, I’ve found the equally rewarding path of working with my clients to develop strategies behind those stories and discovered a love for nurturing the talent in others, being a catalyst in someone else’s story.
Recently, I’ve helped launch and lead a wholly new team within my company called AdLabs, where we experiment with faster, better ways to tell our stories in ad-sized chunks using generative a.i. tools.
In 2023, I co-created a new podcast—Dying To Tell You—that centers conversations with people facing terminal diagnoses. I am the producer, engineer, editor, and head designer/marketing nerd for the podcast, which is in its second season with nearly 10,000 downloads and counting.
Before that, in 2001, I co-created a documentary about amateur astronomers that aired on Colorado PBS and and I’ve published a half dozen short stories, many which lean toward sci-fi and speculative fiction. 🤓
